Sam joined The Amsterdam at Harborside as the community’s executive director in May 2012. He brings more than 15 years of high-end hospitality management experience to the senior living industry, having served as area managing director at The Hilton Hotels and Resorts in New Jersey, and The Westin in Providence, RI. Sam is Six Sigma-certified, a member of the CCRC Cabinet of LeadingAge, and is fluent in French. He has two bachelor’s degrees and a master’s degree. His first is in hotel, restaurant and tourism management from the Ecole Superieure de Tourisme in Paris. Sam’s second bachelor’s degree is in science from State University of New York in community and human services, with a concentration in healthcare management. Sam’s master’s degree is in Heath Care Administration from Utica College in New York.
Jennifer Faber has been working in the healthcare field for over six years. She graduated from Brandeis University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health: Science, Society, and Policy and minor in Music Studies. Jennifer earned her Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration in 2014. A majority of her experience in healthcare administration was accomplished during her four years working at Cold Spring Hills Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation, a 606-bed skilled nursing center, in Woodbury, Long Island. While at Cold Spring Hills, Jennifer held positions in Admissions, Community Relations and Marketing, followed by becoming the Assistant Administrator. Jennifer then earned her Nursing Home Administrator’s License for the State of New York in February 2015. Jennifer is beyond thrilled to serve as the Administrator of the Tuttle Center at The Amsterdam at Harborside and is proud to be a member of The Amsterdam family.
